Migrate from AgencyAnalytics in a weekend

Why teams switch#

The AgencyAnalytics value prop is the dashboard — beautiful, configurable, real-time views of marketing data. SendBriefs's value prop is the brief — the narrative artifact your client actually opens on Monday.

The two products are doing different jobs. If you've decided the brief matters more than the dashboard for your client work, this guide gets you migrated.

Before you start#

Make sure you have:

• Admin access to your AgencyAnalytics account (to export + cancel)
• OAuth credentials for the same data sources, ready to reconnect to SendBriefs
• A list of your top 5-10 clients to migrate first (start with the biggest retainers)
• 4-6 hours of focused time, ideally a Saturday morning

What stays the same#

• Your data sources. GA4, GSC, HubSpot, Stripe, Meta Ads, Google Ads — all of these reconnect identically. Same OAuth flow, same scopes.
• Your client roster. Every client in AgencyAnalytics becomes a client in SendBriefs.
• Your delivery cadence. Monthly reports stay monthly. Quarterly stays quarterly.

What changes#

• The deliverable shape. Dashboards become briefs. Charts become embedded blocks in prose narratives. The client experience shifts from "log in and explore" to "open this in your inbox."
• Approval flow. AgencyAnalytics doesn't have a native approval flow; SendBriefs does. Use this as an opportunity to formalize who signs off on what.
• Pricing model. AgencyAnalytics prices by client tier + features. SendBriefs prices per client with feature parity across plans (Solo/Agency/Pro have different client allotments, not different feature sets).

Step-by-step walkthrough#

1. Export your AgencyAnalytics dashboards as PDFs#

You won't import them — SendBriefs is structurally different. But the PDFs are useful reference material for recreating your templates.

In AgencyAnalytics: go to Reports → select each saved report → Export → PDF. Save them all to a migration/ folder.

2. Catalogue your data sources#

Document which data sources each client uses. Spreadsheet format:

3-9. Follow the platform-specific steps in-app#

Once you sign up for SendBriefs, the in-app onboarding walks you through reconnecting sources, cloning templates, and migrating clients in batches. Each step has its own help-doc and live-chat support.

Common gotchas#

• OAuth re-auth. AgencyAnalytics and SendBriefs both have OAuth scopes for the same Google products. You may need to revoke AgencyAnalytics's access in Google Account settings before reconnecting in SendBriefs, depending on your IT policy.
• Brand kit recreation. AgencyAnalytics stores brand kits in their own format. You'll need to re-upload logo files and re-enter color hex codes in SendBriefs. Budget 5-10 minutes per client.
• Schedule timing. Stagger your cutover so AgencyAnalytics doesn't send a duplicate brief the same week SendBriefs ships its first. Cancel old schedules before turning on new ones.

When to ask for help#
